Has it been 8 months?

It seems like only yesterday I was holding my sweet baby girl in my arms for the first time...and now she won't sit still to be held for very long! I can't believe she is already 8 months old! It's amazing how fast time flies when you have a little one!

Sydney Marie - At 8 Months you:

- are crawling really well and starting to chase dogs
- can walk with someone holding your hands
- are pulling yourself up on anything that is the right height (even if it's not sturdy!)
- Eat...a lot
- Love stroller rides and being outside
- Are one of the happiest babies I know
- Say "Dada" ALL the time and "Mom-mee" when you are mad
- Think your dogs are funny
- Have been in 4 states already (AL, FL, GA, TN)
- Have been to the beach 3 times
- Try to get into anything you aren't supposed to
- Are loved by everyone you meet (even waiters/waitresses/random people in stores)

I hope the next 8 months don't pass as quickly as these first 8 months have! Here are a few pictures from our trip to the beach last weekend...Hope you all enjoy!

Sorry for the sideways video...when I video with our normal camera I always video sideways for some reason (you think I'd learn).

Sydney waved for the first time yesterday...at Dr. Marques (her pediatrician). It was so cute! I actually managed to get her waving at Daddy on video last night to share with you all!

Motion Monday

Sydney can crawl now..we didn't think she would since she likes standing and walking (with help). She crawls really well when you tempt her with food, cellphones, computer cords, or makeup! Pretty soon she will be chasing the dogs all over the place! Hope you enjoy the video...sorry about the ending, but that's one of the problems with a reflux baby :)

Breakout at the Zoo!?!

Warning! There has been a break out from the local zoo. Be on the lookout for a vicious food-eating baby. She has been known to melt hearts with just one look and distract waiters and waitresses from across a restaurant. If you happen to see this baby roaming around, please give us a call....



Well, it looks like she was finally caught... apparently she is attracted to make-up...

We Won!!

I always say I never win anything...but guess what? I won something! and it's awesome!! I would like to thank Mimi's Babies and Happy Housewife Living for the wonderful prize! It is a buggy buddy (used to cover shopping carts so babies can't chew on the handles, etc.). Here are a few pictures of Sydney using it (as a highchair cover). It is really cute & functional...we love it already! Check out Mimi's store for all of her other wonderful gifts!

Ok, almost Thoughtless Thursday...We had a "visitor" stay with us this week...Sydney's Aunt Megan! Sydney REALLY wanted to get into her stuff while she was gone to karate class!
